Cierra Reynolds, a fearless 22-year-old vocalist hailing from Largo, Florida, defies expectations with her extraordinary talent and inspiring journey. Diagnosed with high functioning autism at the tender age of 5, she navigated her youth with unwavering determination, embracing speech, occupational, and social skills therapy. Music has been Cierra's passion since before she could even speak, and she has captivated audiences with her remarkable voice ever since.
From the tender age of 6, Cierra fearlessly took to the stage, showcasing her vocal prowess in talent shows, karaoke contests, and competitive vocal competitions. Her autism proved to be a unique advantage, bestowing her with an unwavering confidence during performances and an exceptional auditory memory that effortlessly captures every note and lyric with her perfect pitch.
In 2019, Cierra achieved a significant milestone by graduating from the esteemed Pinellas County Center for the Arts (PCCA) in St. Petersburg, Florida, where she specialized in vocals. She furthered her educational journey, earning an Associate in Arts degree from St. Petersburg College in 2021. Cierra's undeniable talent and captivating stage presence caught the attention of the Tampa Bay Rays, who invited her to perform the national anthem during their 2019 season. The buzz surrounding her outstanding performance catapulted her into the spotlight, landing her a featured story in the prestigious Tampa Bay Times and securing her a live performance on Great Day Live Tampa Bay.
Currently pursuing her B.A. in music at Florida Southern College, Cierra remains devoted to her craft, channeling her creativity into writing original music. Her ambition knows no bounds as she aspires to become a renowned performing artist. As an ambassador for the esteemed Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism, Cierra utilizes her talents as a singer, songwriter, and performer to spread awareness and inspire individuals with autism. She firmly believes that autism does not limit one's potential for success and encourages others to embrace their unique abilities without shame. For Cierra, autism is not a limitation; it's a springboard to unleash the extraordinary.
